Asante Kotoko’s promising youngster, Bernard Somuah, is set to join Spanish La Liga side Celta de Vigo on loan move according to the club official release this afternoon.
The 18-year-old winger joined Asante Kotoko last season after impressing during a trial. He made a notable impact in his debut season and earned a call-up to the Ghana U-20 national team.
Somuah’s performances have caught the attention of Celta Vigo, who is poised to sign him on a season-long deal.
Prior to his time with Asante Kotoko, Somuah scored 22 goals for Afigya Liberty in the lower leagues. He has continued his impressive form in pre-season, scoring in several matches, including against Bibiani Goldstars and Hearts of Oak.
