Talented midfielder, Collinson Theophilus has officially completed his anticipated move to Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak.
The talented player joins the Accra-based club from lower-tier side Tudu Mighty Jets, marking a significant step in his career.
The announcement was made by Hearts of Oak on Thursday, August 29, through their official social media channels, stating, “PHOBIA TRANSFER Collinson Theophilus is now officially a Phobian! He joins us from Tudu Mighty Jets. Welcome to the family!”
Collinson Theophilus is one of several new signings made by Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2024/25 season. Other players unveiled by the club include Ramzy Yussif, Mawuli Wayo, Hussein Mohammed, Kwabena Boateng, Isshak Saani Mohammed, and Yahaya Draman.
Theophilus will now join his new teammates as they continue their preparations for the upcoming season. The team is currently in Togo on a preseason tour, where they recently secured a 3-1 victory over Togolese side Semassi, with goals from Asamoah Boateng, Kwabena Boateng, and Isaac Frimpong.
Hearts of Oak is scheduled to play the Togo National U20 team on August 31st at the Stade Municipal de Lomé as part of their preseason campaign.
