The Ghana Premier League matchday two fixture between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC has been postponed due to Nsoatreman’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
The match, originally scheduled for Friday, 13th September 2024 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, will now be played at a later date.
Nsoatreman FC is set to face Algerian side CS Constantine in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium. Their continental commitment necessitated the rescheduling of the domestic clash with Asante Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko began their season with a victory over Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Sports Centre, while Nsoatreman secured an emphatic win against league newcomers Young Apostles at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.
Nsoatreman will be aiming to secure a favorable result against Constantine in the first leg before traveling to Algeria for the return fixture.
