Hearts of Oak defender Konadu Yiadom is calling for patience from fans following the club’s disappointing start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians are yet to secure a win after their first two matches, suffering defeats against Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions.
Their recent 2-0 loss to Heart of Lions has further intensified concerns among supporters, who are worried about a repeat of last season’s relegation struggle. Before this match, Hearts of Oak had already faced a surprise 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their season opener.
“Losing our first two games is not refreshing for us. I will plead with our fans to keep supporting us and I think things will get better going forward” he said.
Currently at the bottom of the league table with no points, Hearts of Oak’s challenging start has left fans anxious about the possibility of another difficult season.
The Phobians next host Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium in a matchweek 3 fixture.
