Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, remains optimistic that his team will bounce back as they prepare to face Bechem United in a crucial Week 3 fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians are seeking their first win of the campaign after suffering back-to-back defeats in their opening two matches.
Despite the disappointing start, Ouattara insists that Hearts of Oak remains a formidable team and has urged his players to fight for a positive result.Speaking in an interview with Hearts TV on YouTube, Ouattara emphasized the need for unity and hard work within the team to overcome the challenging start. “All of us need to win the matches to get to a better position and think about the future. When we are divided, it’s not for our benefit.
We are giving the players encouragement to believe in their talent and fight for a good result on Sunday against another strong side, Bechem United,” the coach said.
“We are taking it match by match, and I believe the team can change—it must change. Hearts of Oak is Hearts of Oak,” he added.
The match between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United will take place on Sunday, September 22, at the Legon Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 6 PM.
