Asante Kotoko Sporting Club will be in action on Sunday as they face Berekum Chelsea on week 4 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors will make the trip with four changes from their previous squad for Young Apostles at the Len Clay Stadium.
These changes come in the form of two key defenders, Esmat Abdulhamid and Samba O’Neill alongside two midfielders, Samuel Tenadu and Baba Yahaya.
We can exclusively confirm that the reason behind the absence of these key players is due to injury.
Esmat has been sidelined for six weeks after a successful foot surgery. However, Elvis Kyei Baffour, who sustained injury prior to the start of the season has returned and ready to make his debut in the Ghana Premier League for the Reds.
It is a setback that inflates Prosper Narteh Ogum’s Ogum side, but he will hope to rely on the remaining squad as they seek for their second win of the season.
With the records of the Golden City Park, Kotoko will need to work hard to beat the Bibires, who are unbeaten in their opening two games, having failed to concede a goal in the just started season.
