Northern City FC defender Kwame Eshun has been included in the Black Galaxies’ list of 54 players invited for screening ahead of the 2024 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
The centre-back’s impressive performances in the Division One League have earned him a call-up to Didi Dramani’s squad for assessment.
Eshun is currently participating in the screening at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence. The Black Galaxies are set to face their West African rivals, Nigeria, in the second round of the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifiers.
The two-legged tie is scheduled for December, with the first leg taking place in Ghana between December 20-22, 2024, and the return leg in Nigeria from December 27-29, 2024.Both teams are vying for a coveted spot in the CHAN 2024 tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The winner of this tie will advance to the competition to compete against other African nations.
