Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak battled to a 0-0 draw on matchday seven of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, leaving Dreams still in search of their first victory this campaign.
Abdul Karim Zito’s side, winless in their first six games, struggled to penetrate a well-organized Hearts defense led by Kelvin Osei Asibey. Despite their best efforts, Dreams failed to find the decisive goal to break their winless run.
Hearts of Oak had the game’s first real opportunity through Hamzah Issah, whose powerful shot narrowly missed the target in the first half. Both teams played cautiously, resulting in a goalless opening 45 minutes with few clear chances.
Hearts head coach Aboubakar Outarra looked to energize his side in the second half, making early substitutions by bringing on Amankwah Baafi for Yahaya Dramani. The move nearly paid off when Kwabena Boateng found space in the box, but his effort went wide.
Outarra continued to push for a winner with further changes, introducing Asamoah Boateng and Salim Adams for Ahmed Ramzy and Kwabena Boateng, but Hearts couldn’t find the breakthrough.
Zito responded with his own substitutions for Dreams, sending in Shaban Mohammed for Sulemana Suweidu and Jonathan Nemorden for Isaac Yaro, hoping to inject some life into their attack. However, the match remained evenly contested, and neither side could capitalize on their opportunities.
The result keeps Dreams FC winless after seven matches, while Hearts of Oak will view the draw as a missed chance to move higher up the league table.
