Asante Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) has officially presented a proposal to midfielder and defender Justice Blay for a two-year contract renewal.
The talented player, who has played a vital role in Kotoko’s recent campaigns, is currently under contract until January 2025. However, the club is eager to secure his services for an extended period to ensure stability and continuity in their squad.
Blay’s contributions have not gone unnoticed, as his consistent performances, work ethic, and leadership qualities have established him as a key figure within the team. The management is determined to retain such an influential player as they aim to rebuild and strengthen their roster.
The proposal is currently with Blay’s representatives, who are reviewing the terms and conditions of the renewal. This initiative by the IMC reflects their commitment to maintaining stability as they prepare for the upcoming seasons.
So far this season, Blay has featured in four of the six matches and has even earned an MVP award for his outstanding performances.
