The Executive Council (ExCo) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will convene for its next meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to address several critical issues regarding the development of football in the country.

At the top of the agenda is the performance of the Black Stars, with the ExCo set to review the team’s recent results and discuss strategies moving forward.

The Council will also focus on a planned GFA Retreat, aimed at providing a platform for stakeholders to contribute to discussions that will shape the future of football development in Ghana. This retreat is expected to encourage meaningful dialogue on improving the game at all levels.

Additionally, the ExCo will receive updates on the country’s domestic competitions, including the Ghana Premier League, Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, MTN FA Cup, and Women’s FA Cup.

Other updates will cover the progress of Ghana’s national teams, including the Black Queens, Black Galaxies, Black Satellites, Black Princesses, Black Starlets, and Black Maidens. The ExCo will also discuss the U15 Boys and Girls Schools program.

The Regional Football Associations (RFAs) will be a key focus, with reports on the activities of the ten RFAs, as well as updates on the 2nd Division, 3rd Division, Colts, and the Regional Women’s Division One Leagues. The ExCo will also receive reports on the KGL U17 Colts Championship and the TDS Elite U15 Boys and Girls Colts Championships.

The meeting will also touch on the ongoing projects at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram and other key initiatives aimed at advancing football infrastructure.

This meeting is expected to be pivotal, with the ExCo set to make important decisions that will influence the future direction of football in Ghana.
