Asante Kotoko are actively pursuing a potential move for Attram De Visser midfielder Hafiz Ibrahim, with discussions already underway over a transfer in the upcoming January window.
The Porcupines are keen to bolster their squad for the second half of the Ghana Premier League season and have identified the former U-23 midfielder as a key target.
Hafiz Ibrahim, who has impressed with his performances for Attram De Visser, could be the ideal addition to Kotoko’s midfield as they look to strengthen their lineup.
Hafiz was part of the Kotoko contingent that travelled to the United States for the friendly match against DC United last month, gaining valuable exposure to international competition. His performances in that friendly, along with his consistent form in the domestic league, have made him an attractive option for the Kumasi-based club.
The Atebubu-born defensive midfielder is also currently among the 32 players invited by Black Galaxies head coach Didi Dramani for a screening ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
Asante Kotoko, who are currently in 7th place in the league standings with 18 points from 12 matches, are hoping to strengthen their squad in the new year to push for a higher finish in the Ghana Premier League.
