The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that all of its competitions, including the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, and the MTN FA Cup, will take a planned break after this weekend’s matches.
The break is scheduled to allow all football participants to perform their civic duties in the upcoming national General Elections on December 7, 2024.
This break will follow the conclusion of the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 and Matchday 6 of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
Competitions will resume on the weekend of Friday, December 13, 2024.The GFA encourages all football participants and the general public to partake in the elections peacefully and responsibly.
