The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the highly anticipated Super Clash of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak is set for Sunday, December 15th 2024.
Scheduled as a pivotal fixture in matchday 14, the game will see Asante Kotoko, the Porcupine Warriors, hosting the match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghanasportspage.com can confirm that, the Competitions Department of the Ghana Football Association has set the date for the Premier League game between rivals Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak.
Before traveling to Kumasi for the showdown, Hearts of Oak thrashed second division side immigration FC 4-0 in the round 64 of the MTN FA Cup competitions. Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko also hammered first division side, Future Stars FC 2-0 to progress to the 32 stage of the FA Cup competition.
With a slim two-point lead over Hearts of Oak in the Premier League standings, Asante Kotoko will be aiming for victory in the upcoming Super Clash.
The Reds are eager to maintain their dominance in this fierce rivalry. The game is scheduled for Sunday, 15th December 2024 at exactly 15:00GMT.
The Ghana Football Association is set to name the officiating officials in the coming days.
