Former Medeama Sporting Club midfielder, Rashid Nortey has revealed his feelings following his exit from Asante Kotoko.
The midfield dynamo, who had a successful spell in Tarkwa with the Yellow and Mauves admitted that he felt bad after the termination of his contract with the GPL giants.
Reflecting on his exit, Nortey said: “I felt bad. Every player will feel bad to leave a club like Asante Kotoko, especially when you want to achieve something with them. I felt bad but life still goes on. I felt bad as a player. Life still goes on and we will manage it,” HE stated on Tiktok.
Nortey signed for Kotoko in January 2023 after leaving Medeama SC, but his adventure with the Porcupine Warriors has not been well, having suffered strings of injuries.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder managed just seven appearances for Kotoko in the second half of last term and scored once as injury ruled him out for some months.
Nortey has been out on the sidelines since leaving the Porcupine Warriors as he is yet to make a single appearance.
