Mawuli Wayo came off the bench to score two quick goals to seal a 3-2 win for Accra Hearts of Oak over Accra Lions after the Rainbows had gone down by a 2-1 scoreline in the second half on Matchday 15 of the Ghana Premier League.
A 36th minute strike from Mohammed Hussein set Hearts of Oak on their way, but Lucky Nwafor and Ezekiel Alladoh scored in the second half to give the hosts a 2-1 lead at the WAFA Park before Mawuli Wayo’s brace during the 84th and 86th minute.
The result puts Coach Aboubakar Ouattarra’s side 6th on the league table – two points behind their rivals, Asante Kotoko, who sits second after week 15.

Hearts will host Legon Cities, who are winless in their last five games. The Royals rank 18th on the league table with just 3 wins from 15 games.
Accra Lions, having won just one game in their last 11 games, will play away to a Dreams at the Tuba Astro Turf on matchday 16.
