Asante Kotoko’s Sporting Affairs Manager, Kwesi Appiah, has emphasized the club’s commitment to the welfare of its players, citing timely salary payments and attractive incentives as key factors.
“This is a squad that occasionally receives salary payments as early as the 25th or 26th of each month,” Appiah said in an interview with Akoma FM. “The following day, they receive bonuses for winning matches.”
Appiah expressed confidence in the club’s efforts to retain players, crediting the support of the club’s leadership. “I don’t think any team can match the incentives Kotoko offers their players, and I believe we’re doing our best with the King’s assistance.
Unless there are additional reasons, I would be surprised if any player currently at Kotoko considered leaving,” he added.
Asante Kotoko are currently fifth on the Ghana Premier League standings with 28 points.
