Asante Kotoko have invited left-back Richard Bismark Wiafe to their Adako Jachie training grounds for trials as they seek to bolster their defensive options, Ghanasportspage.com can exclusively report.
Following the departure of Esmat Abdalhamid, Kotoko are in the market for a reliable left-back to provide depth alongside their only current option, Patrick Asiedu.
Wiafe, who has previously played for Aduana Stars, Berekum Chelsea, and King Faisal, is under assessment by the technical team, who will decide whether to offer him a deal. In addition to Wiafe, Kotoko are reportedly scouting other players to strengthen their squad.
The Porcupine Warriors have already secured the services of Kwame Opoku and Sampson Eduku during the January transfer window as they aim to boost their title ambitions in the Ghana Premier League.
