Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi has endorsed the Ashanti Regional FA Chairman, Osei Tutu Agyemang, as a strong candidate for the GFA Presidency.
Nyantakyi, who served as GFA President for over a decade, believes Osei Tutu Agyemang’s extensive experience and dedication make him a suitable choice to lead the football governing body.
Speaking in an interview on Hot FM, Nyantakyi praised Osei Tutu Agyemang’s leadership qualities and commitment to Ghana football.
“Osei Tutu Agyemang has been the Ashanti Regional FA Chairman for close to two decades. In tipping someone to be the next FA President, I think he qualifies.
He has the work ethic, vision, and dedication needed to succeed as GFA President,” Nyantakyi remarked.Nyantakyi further highlighted the significant role Osei Tutu Agyemang played during his tenure as GFA President, noting their collaboration on the GFA Executive Council.
He explained, “During my time as President, Osei Tutu Agyemang was a key figure on the Executive Council. His insights and contributions were invaluable. I have no doubt that he has what it takes to lead Ghana football to greater heights.
“The former GFA boss also expressed confidence in Osei Tutu Agyemang’s ability to unite the football fraternity and implement policies that will improve the development of the sport at all levels. “He has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within Ghana football.
With his experience, he can bring stakeholders together and implement strategies that will benefit the entire football ecosystem,” Nyantakyi added.
