The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is reportedly on the verge of dismissing Black Stars assistant coaches Joseph Laumann and John Paintsil as part of a restructuring of the technical team.
Sources close to the GFA indicate that discussions are underway to replace the duo with a Serbian and a Belgian coach.
While the identities of the potential replacements remain undisclosed, negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage. John Paintsil was spotted at the GFA headquarters on Monday, further fueling speculation about his imminent departure.
Laumann and Paintsil have served as assistants to Black Stars head coach Otto Addo since his appointment, but their time with the national team now appears to be drawing to a close.
The shakeup comes as the GFA seeks to bolster the technical staff ahead of crucial assignments, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. An official announcement from the GFA is expected in the coming days.
