Gor Mahia midfielder Enoch Morrison has revealed his continued support for Asante Kotoko, despite now plying his trade in Kenya.
In an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, Morrison expressed his commitment to the Porcupine Warriors, acknowledging the challenges faced by some players.
“I follow the progress of Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League. I talk to some of the new players about how I can help. I knew the situation before I left, so by the grace of God, I’ve been able to purchase boots and other essentials for them,” he told the African best sports page, ghanasportspage.com.
Morrison also praised Kotoko’s performance this season, expressing confidence in the team’s potential to win the league.
“The team is doing very well, and if they don’t win the league this season, I don’t know when they will.
“The boys are performing exceptionally, and I watch all their matches. They have a solid team with many young players, and the coaches are doing a fantastic job,” he added.
The former Kotoko midfielder had a notable stint with the club, making 31 appearances in his debut season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
In his second campaign, he added one goal and two assists in 22 matches before moving to Gor Mahia.
