Enoch MorrisonGor Mahia midfielder Enoch Morrison has revealed his continued connection with Asante Kotoko, following the club’s progress in the Ghana Premier League and offering support to its players from afar.
Speaking to Ghanasportspage.com, Morrison expressed his dedication to the Porcupine Warriors despite now playing in Kenya.
“I do follow the progress of Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League. I talk to some of the new players on what I can do to help them. He told African best sports outlet, ghanasportspage.com.
“I knew of the situation at hand before I left, so by the grace of God, I am able to buy a boot or two for them,” he shared.
He also commended Kotoko’s impressive performance this season, saying, “The team is doing very well, and if they do not win the league this season, then I don’t know when they will win it again.
“The boys are doing really well, and I watch all their matches. They have a solid team; most of the players are really young, and the coaches are doing a good job as well” He concluded.
Morrison enjoyed a productive stint at Kotoko before his move to Gor Mahia. In his first season with the Porcupine Warriors, he made 31 appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
He followed that up with 22 appearances in his second campaign, scoring once and assisting twice.
