Accra Hearts of Oak will face fellow GPL side, Kpando Heart of Lions in a warm-up game on Sunday at the Kpobima Sports Complex in a bid to keep the team in shape for the return of the Ghana Premier League.
The game scheduled for tomorrow at 3pm gives the Rainbows the opportunity to battle Coach Bashir Hayford’s side for the third time this season, having lost one and won one in their last two meetings this season.

Currently, the Ghana Football Association has decided to put the Ghanaian top-flight on hold.
The decision comes after violent clashes during the match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko on Sunday, February 2, 2025, which led to the tragic death of staunch Asante Kotoko supporter, Nana Pooley.
However, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is taking steps to enhance security at match venues for the remainder of the season following the incident.
Accra Hearts of Oak are level on points (33) in fourth, behind Lions on goal difference after matchday 19.
