Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, has dismissed fake reports speculating that their staunch supporter, Nana Pooley was stabbed at the ghetto during their game against Nsoatreman FC.
This follows the claims made by Asempa FM journalist Enoch Worlanyo Wallace on Thursday on his Sports Nite show.
The well-known Sports Presenter disclosed that the late devoted Asante Kotoko supporter, Nana Pooley was stabbed at a location described as ‘ghetto’ before he was transported to the match venue, which aligns with earlier revelation made by the GFA safety and Security Chairperson DCOP Lydia Donkor, who also confirmed that the fan was killed outside the stadium.
This shocking revelation has sparked a lot of controversies and calls for through a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served.
In a strongly worded statement, the management of the Porcupine Warriors described the news as “Reckless Propaganda”.
