Asante Kotoko possible line-up against Samartex: Asare in goal, Kwame Poku, Tenadu and other key players named in Coach Ogum’s set-up

Asante Kotoko has touched down in Samreboi ahead of this afternoon’s Ghana Premier League against title holders FC Samartex, and GSP1 brings you the possible lineup of the Porcupine Warriors.

Key players, Justice Blay, Michael Kyei Dwamena and Mohammed Camara are still not available for selection as they continue to serve their three game suspension.

However, the record holders will will have the likes of Frederick Asare, Kwame Poku, Samuel Tenadu, Dauda Saaka and others to go in for the maximum points.

The clash will mark their second meeting this season, with Kotoko winning the previous fixture at home.

Historically, Kotoko have dominated this fixture, winning four of their last five meetings since November 2022, while Samartex have won just once. The Porcupine Warriors have scored six goals in these encounters, with Samartex netting three.

They will hope to make it two wins a row to maintain their position on the league table.
