Black Stars captain, Jordan Ayew, has assured Ghanaians that the Black Stars are geared up for their 2026 World Cup qualifying task.
Ayew made these remarks after the team’s second training session on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, which was open to the public. He expressed gratitude to the fans who turned up to watch the training.
Speaking to the media, he vowed that he and his teammates are ready to resume the qualifiers on a brighter note by winning their game on Friday.“I want to thank everyone for coming to show your support.
My teammates and I can assure you that we are ready for the battle, and we will give our all. I know the first task is on Friday, and we will make sure that we get the three points,” said Ayew.
He acknowledged the Black Stars’ poor run but promised the fans that the squad is determined to rewrite the script in the upcoming games.
“We know that we are in a difficult situation, but we will turn it around. When I see you guys standing here, I know that we are going to get a positive result on Friday. So, I want to thank you guys on behalf of my teammates, and hopefully, on Friday, we will all be happy with the result.
