The National Sports Authority (NSA) has dismissed reports suggesting that Hearts of Oak will make a return to the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
The Phobians, who have been playing their home games at the Legon Sports Stadium, were originally scheduled to face Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium for their Matchday 21 clash in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak had moved to the University of Ghana Stadium due to ongoing maintenance at the aforementioned venue.
However, after several matches at the new venue, the club licensing board ruled it unsuitable for hosting games, raising concerns over the pitch’s poor condition and security risks.
Due to the NSA’s refusal to grant the Phobians access to the Accra Sports Stadium, it remains unclear where Hearts of Oak will play against Nations FC on Wednesday.
