Asante Kotoko have confirmed a 20-man squad for their crucial Matchday 28 Ghana Premier League showdown against Nations FC on Sunday, April 20.

Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has named an unchanged squad for the trip to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese, with no major injury concerns reported ahead of the tie.

The Porcupine Warriors head into the Bono derby seeking redemption after their impressive nine-match unbeaten run was emphatically ended by Accra Lions in midweek, suffering a 3-0 defeat.

The loss dropped Kotoko to third place on the league table with 47 points.Despite the setback, Kotoko remain firmly in the title race and boast solid away form, ranking fifth in the league for performances on the road.

They’ve suffered just four away defeats this season and will be eager to return to winning ways to keep pace with the title challengers.

This weekend’s fixture marks only the second Premier League meeting between Kotoko and Nations FC at Abrankese.

Their previous encounter at the venue ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw last season.
