Communications Director of Asante Kotoko China Circles, Martin Tawiah has urged the club’s supporters to rally behind the team on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors will take on Accra Hearts of Oak in their second Super Clash of the season at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kotoko, who sits 4th on the table won the first leg by a goal to nil and will hope to claim another vital win over the Rianbows to restore their hope and dream of winning the league.
As the team seeks another victory after beating Aduana Stars, Martin Tawiah is calling on supporters to turn out in force and bring cheer up the team.
“Our next game is against Accra Hearts of Oak. This is the biggest encounter in Ghana. Form doesn’t matter when it comes to Kotoko and Hearts of Oak games. What is needed most is the fans. The have to go to the stadium to support and cheer the team up,” he told Accra-based Mothers FM/Tv.
“Our boys have special energy because of the new training system introduced by Coach Karim Zito. The training and exercise are different. We treat Kotoko and Hearts as a special game because we will be happy if we beat Hearts of Oak and fail to win the league. No matter what, we will beat the., and our leaders have promised us already,” he concluded.
