Asante Kotoko confirmed a 20-man squad for their crucial Matchday 30 Ghana Premier League showdown against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, May 4.
Head coach Karim Zito has named an a strong squad for the trip to the Nations capital, Accra with no major injury concerns reported ahead of the tie.
Asante Kotoko head into the game with renewed confidence following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Aduana FC, which ended a four-match winless run (D2, L2). New coach Abdul Karim Zito, who took charge in April, is eyeing back-to-back victories.
Kotoko sit 4th on the table with 50 points just three behind league leaders Gold Stars FC and know a win could thrust them right back into the title race.
Though they are winless in their last five away games (D3, L2), Kotoko have proven to be one of the more dangerous attacking sides in the league with 29 goals scored and 21 conceded.
Karim Zito’s side is traveling to Accra with Joseph Ablorh, who has been absent from the Porcupine squad for so long will now be available to play against Hearts of Oak.
