Former Ghanaian goalkeeper Felix Annan believes that his former side, Asante Kotoko can beat Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The two Ghanaian giants go head to head on Matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium, with both looking ahead to claim the bragging right after the game.
“For me, I know it going to be a very difficult game because we always say form doesn’t count in Kotoko and Hearts of Oak matches but I know that the Porcupine will definitely win because they’ve been under a lot of pressure and I know that they will go to Accra to deliver. Accra is our home and they can if they give out everything,” Annan told Mothers 102.7FM.
Currently, Asante Kotoko sit 4th on the league table with 50 points, 5 points above their sworn rivals Hearts of Oak, who rank 7th with 45 points.
Having won the first leg 1-0, Coach Zito’s side will be hoping to do the double over Hearts in what is widely regarded as Ghana’s fiercest football rivalry.
With both teams eager to end the season on a high, Sunday’s encounter promises to be another thrilling chapter in this storied fixture.
