Asante Kotoko have named a 21-man squad for their crucial Ghana Premier League encounter against Medeama SC, set for Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The squad includes a blend of youthful talent and seasoned performers, as the Porcupine Warriors aim to secure a vital win in their quest for the league title and a return to continental competition.
Key inclusions in the squad are the returning Lord Amoah, dependable defender Joseph Ablorh, midfield dynamo Andrews Ntim Manu, and in-form striker Albert Amoah, who is expected to lead the line in the absence of Kwame Opoku. Opoku is currently away on international duty with the Black Stars in London.
However, Kotoko will be without some key players. Samba O’Neil, Justice Blay, and Saaka Dauda are all ruled out of the match due to card suspensions, forcing coach Karim Zito to reshuffle his options.
Kotoko are determined to grab all three points to maintain their title hopes and build momentum heading into the MTN FA Cup final, as they pursue a domestic double.
