Golden Kicks captain Roland Grippman has predicted an emphatic 2-0 win for his side in the in MTN FA Cup final against Asante Kotoko.
According to Grippman, the Division One side do not want to the match travel to penalties and thus want to get the job done within 90 minutes.
He added that they are not afraid of Kotoko, who are the competition’s second most successful club.
“We don’t want the game to travel to penalties. We want to finish them winning 90 minutes. We will beat them 2-0,” he told Ghanasportspage.Com
“There is no fear amongst us. We only have one one aim and that is to win the game. We want to have fun and make history.”
He vowed that the player as are ready to leave everything on the pitch to write history.
“We want to also make name for ourselves because you can’t disgrace yourself in a final, so we will play our hearts out and make history.”
Golden Kicks have had a fairy tale hour in the cup competition, qualifying for their first ever final.
After eliminating Hearts of Oak, the most successful club in the competition, in the quarterfinals they would be aiming at completing their remarkable campaign by clinching the title.
The final is scheduled for June 15, Sunday, 2025 at the University of Legon Sports Stadium.
