Accra Hearts of Oak have officially communicated their interest in signing central defender Razak Simpson from Nations FC, as the Phobians continue their squad reinforcement ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Simpson, 24, had an impressive 2024/25 campaign with Nations FC, making 21 league appearances and contributing four goals—a rare feat for a centre-back. His strong performances at club level have not gone unnoticed, earning him a place in the senior national team.
The towering defender has already featured five times for the Black Stars, finding the back of the net once—a well-taken goal against Trinidad and Tobago in the Unity Cup earlier this month.
