Ghanaian football coach, Awuni Barnabas is impressed with the facilities at Remo Stars FC at Ikeene in Ogun State upon tour with his team Hypebuzz FC.
Many have argued that, football development especially training facilities in Africa is below standard hence the Continent struggling to enhance its football. On Monday, Coach Barnabas had a tour with his outfit at Ikeene where Remo Stars FC is located.
With high class facilities, such as: Training Pitches, Artificial Turf, Educational Facilities, Football Administrative Facilities with IT Equipment, Dedicated Internet Connection, Accommodation for Players to stay all year around, Gym amongst others the Ghanaian gaffer expressed surprise.
Remo Stars FC has a team playing in the Nigerian Professional Football league and youth side Beyond Limit FC playing in Nigeria National League
Awuni, overwhelmed with the level of football development could not hide his
thought but wish his outfit Hypebuzz FC get a similar facility in the coming years to help develop more talent for their project.
“I must admit, its a huge project that has seen a lot of resource pushed into it. And I applaud the club owners” If such projects are scattered around in Africa, we will be having most players trading in Europe’s top-tier”
“To see such project constructed by Hypebuzz FC in the near future will be good to our development as a club” Am fortunate to have managed WAFA SC in Ghana and know their facilities but this by Remo Stars is very huge and impressive over WAFA”, he said.
Currently, Awuni Barnabas is in Ogun State with his side for the Super 8 tournament where they took the opportunity to have a tour.
