Seasonal ritual by Ghanaian giant’s Asante Kotoko SC could not be stopped but continue to the satisfaction of few. The Premier league holders of Ghana, 26-times has already purchased eleven new signings going in to the 2025/26 league campaign.
It’s become a norm, for Asante Kotoko SC to sack huge number of players and also replace them with numbers. This modern culture by the club has being practiced for close to 8-seasons now but has only two league titles to show during this period.
Following the successful end of 2024/25 season, the Kumasi based outfit parted ways with Nine (9) players including players that joined in the second but already introduced eleven new signings to the fold, with preseason underway.
Last season, the Porcupine Warriors ended relationship with 21-players and augmented with 17-players. With few weeks, to new campaign the handlers have already signed 11-players after parting ways with nine.
The outfit, currently is managed by experienced Ghanaian trainer and youth developer Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey. He previously played for the Kumasi-based outfit and officially penned down a two year contract with the Reds.

4. Fuseini Zackaria, Central Defender from Berekum Chelsea, 3 years.
5. Aziz Haruna Dari, Goalkeeper from Bechem United, 4years.
6. Seth Kwadwo, Midfielder from Bechem United, 4years.
7.Joseph Amoah, Midfielder from Legon Cities FC, 4 years.
8. Inusah Adams, Winger from Kotoku Royals. He signed 3 years.
9. Hilary Adabo, Defensive Midfielder from FC Samartex, 3 years.
10. Phillip Amoh, Winger from New Edubiase FC, 3 years.
11. Shayibu Abubakari, right back from Karela United, and signed 3 years.
