The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Adesa Production Ltd. to produce, manage, and market the Ghana Premier League.
GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku confirmed the new deal, describing it as a major step toward enhancing the visibility and commercial value of the country’s top-tier football competition.
As part of the agreement, each Ghana Premier League club will receive GHS 1 million before the start of the upcoming season — a significant financial boost aimed at supporting club operations and promoting competitive standards across the league.
“This partnership is about growth, professionalism, and long-term value,” said President Okraku.
“We believe this move will transform how the Ghana Premier League is seen and consumed by both fans and stakeholders locally and internationally.”
Adesa Production Ltd., known for its sports media expertise, will now take over the production and commercial rollout of the league, including broadcasting, sponsorship acquisition, and branding strategies.
The initiative is expected to usher in a new era for Ghanaian football, where clubs benefit from improved revenue streams, better marketing exposure, and enhanced league organization.
