Owners of Legon Cities FC previously Wa All Stars FC has purchased Techiman Eleven Wonders FC to play in the Ghanaian topflight.
According to reliable source, Legon Cities have secured the Premier league slot of Techiman Eleven Wonders and would return to the country’s elite football.
Legon Cities FC following their poor performance in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, suffered relegation but nonetheless will be playing in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league.
Reason being that, Legon Cities owner Richard Kings Atippoe, has acquired Techiman Eleven Wonders Premier league slot and will retain the Eleven Wonders name.
However, the team would be relocated from Techiman to Accra for the upcoming season.
Legon Cities were expected to participate in the Division One league 2025/26 season, precisely zone One having thrash RTU in the playoff final.
Currently, the team is been managed by former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey.
