The 2025/26 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round draw will be held today, August 9, 2025 in Tanzania, setting the stage for the start of Africa’s top club competitions.
Ghana will be represented by Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederation Cup and Bibiani Gold Stars in the CAF Champions League.
A record-breaking 120 Football Clubs across the African Continent will participate in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2025/26 season.
A total of 62 teams will contest the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, while 58 will take part in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup the largest combined entry ever seen in CAF’s Interclub competitions.
