Accra Hearts of Oak’s technical team has released an update on the status of 11 players as preparations continue for the new campaign.
Midfielder Seth Osei has not trained fully since the team resumed on July 21, 2025, after falling ill earlier in the month. He missed training following his illness on July 7 and only returned between August 4–7. The technical team told ghanasportspage.com.
Defender Samuel Amofa has been identified as needing more game time to sharpen his match fitness. The same applies to Yaya Adramani, who, despite not being a young player, is seen as potentially more useful to the squad given his good work attitude.
Full-back Michael Ampadu, whose contract has expired, is also in need of more minutes, while Asamoah Boateng has been flagged as underperforming but still requiring match action to assess his readiness.
Striker Evans Adomako, midfielder Humphrey Tetteh, forward Albert Amanfo, winger Rashid Okine, midfielder Isaac Frimpong, and forward Akwasi Nketia have all been listed as players who need additional game minutes to improve sharpness and form.
The update underscores the technical team’s intention to rotate the squad and provide opportunities for fringe players as Hearts prepare for competitive fixtures ahead.
