Ghana Football Association general secretary Prosper Harrison Addo has explained to the general public of Ghana especially the Football fraternity in that, Nsoatreman FC was qualified to vote during the 31st annual congress.
“Nsoatreman Football Club is still a member of the Ghana Football Association.
They wrote to the FA that they want to be removed from all competitions, especially the Premier League, after they were charged by the Disciplinary Committee. He told Ghanasportspage.com.
“”Congress is always attended by all the clubs who played the season, and so at this congress you have all the teams that participated in the Premier League, including the relegated clubs, which is their last congress before they become a Division One club.
All the three relegated clubs (Nsoatreman, Accra Lions, and Legon Cities) will not be present as Premier League sides next season. Accra Lions and Legon Cities will be there as Division One League clubs.
“For Nsoatreman FC, they have been demoted to the lower leagues and will not take part in next season’s congress, but they were qualified for this one as a Premier League side, the same as the Women’s Premier League and the Division One League.
That’s why you saw the likes of Faith Ladies, Kotoku Royals, and other relegated teams.” He concluded.
