The 2024/25 Malta Guinness Champions on Thursday got unveiled with their opponents for this year’s WAFU B Women’s champions league. Police Ladies FC have being paired with Bayelsa Queens, Sportive de La Kozah and Sam Nelly in Group B.
Basigi who led Hasaacas Ladies FC to clinch CAF Women’s champions league revealed in an interview that Police Ladies FC is faced with good opponents in the group and would have to up their sessions for a better campaign.
“The draw has being good and we all know, Bayelsa is a good team. The core team has being there before but not all current squad”
“Notwithstanding, I will say our group is the toughest and I think we also have to up our game, this time around especially now we know our opponents” Police Ladies is not leaving any stone unturned than to make sure we do the needful”
“We’re not under rating any club, we are not under estimating any team since they also want to be there” We will take match after match to ensure we get our target”, he told Accra-based Sporty TV.
