Asante Kotoko continued their preseason preparations in style with a convincing 3-0 win over Vipers in a friendly encounter on Monday, August 18, 2025.
The Porcupine Warriors dominated the game from the start and took the lead in the 10th minute through Samba O’Niel, who calmly slotted home after a fine team move.
Albert Amoah doubled the advantage in the 36th minute, finishing off a swift attacking break to give Kotoko a comfortable 2-0 cushion at halftime.
Kwame Opoku, making his presence felt in attack, sealed the victory in the 58th minute with a composed strike, ensuring Kotoko wrapped up an emphatic performance.
The win marks another positive step in Karim Zito’s preseason program as the Reds gear up for the GHALCA top 4 and a demanding 2025/26 campaign.
