Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will begin their campaign in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament today, Wednesday 20th August at the UG Stadium against Bibiani GoldStars.

A tournament organised by the Ghana League Clubs Association which serves as pre-season for top four teams ahead of the upcoming season. At the University of Ghana-Legon Stadium, will have all matches played.

The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with league winners Bibiani GoldStars FC in tournament opener at exactly 3:00PM and we take a look at Kotoko possible lineup and injury concerns. Coach Karim Zito has just two injury concerns which was suffered before the team pitched camp in Cape Coast.

Peter Amidu Acquah and Elvis Kyei Baffour will not partake in the entire GHALCA top 4 tournament due to severe injury.

The side will have new recruit Morifying Donzo who registered two goals in their preseason tour in Cape Coast, as well as Jordan Amissah, Hubbert Gyau and Hillary Adabo forming match day squad to face Bibiani GoldStars FC.



With Kotoko recording four victories in four matches, is expected to parade a strong team for the afternoon game at Legon, where they set up for a first win.

Having monitored Karim Zito tactical switch, expect below players to earn a spot in the starting lineup.

Mohammed Camara, Henry Ansu, Samba O’Neil, Shayibu Abubakar, Seth Kwadwo, Patrick Asiedu, Albert AMOAH, Hillary Adabo, Emmanuel Antwi, Dauda Saaka, Kwame Poku
