Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced their 20-man squad for their game against 2024/25 Ghana Premier League winner’s Bibiani GoldStars FC – Champion of Champions scheduled for Sunday, April 31, 2025.
The Reds are preparing for the encounter to be staged in Bibiani, Duns park.
The epic match, which will usher in the 2025/26 Ghana football season, pits FA Cup winner’s Asante Kotoko SC against the league winner’s in what promises to be an enthralling contest.
Kotoko will be aiming at writing their wrongs this time after a poor campaign in the GHALCA Top 4 competition, where they failed to a win a single match. Ahead of the clash, head coach Abdul Karim Zito has named a strong squad for the trip to the Bibiani.
The goalkeeping department features first-choice Mohammed Camara and Dari Aziz.
The defensive unit is led by in-form center-back Samba O’Neil, Henry Ansu, Patrick Asiedu and Shayibu Abubakar.
Striker Kwame Poku and Albert Amoah all made the cut for attacking options for coach Karim Zito.
