The two traditional giants Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics will clash on this affernoon, September 5, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium in the second edition of the competition.
The Democracy Cup, introduced to commemorate Ghana’s parliamentary democracy, is now in its second edition. This year’s fixture also carries the added flavor of a city derby, as both Hearts and Olympics seek bragging rights in Accra.
The maiden edition, staged in 2024, saw Asante Kotoko edge Hearts of Oak 2-1 in a thrilling encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.
