Ghana and Villarreal midfielder Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to multiple sexual offence charges at Southwark Crown Court in London.
On Tuesday, September 17, 2025, Partey formally denied five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault during his court appearance.
The case, which has been under investigation for several years, has now moved closer to trial, with the midfielder set to face a lengthy legal battle to clear his name.
The charges relate to alleged incidents involving three women, though details remain restricted under UK reporting laws for sexual offence cases.
The trial is scheduled to begin in November 2026 and could last between six and eight weeks before a final judgement is delivered.
If convicted, Partey could face a lengthy prison sentence, but his legal team has expressed confidence in defending his innocence.
