Asante Kotoko SC today paid a visit to the President of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against Kwara United FC.
The Reds will begin their CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Sunday as they take on Kwara United FC of Nigeria. With preparation on course, Kotoko management as well as the playing body visited His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, for blessings and encouragement as they represent Ghana this time around.
The President received the warriors at the Jubilee House, urging the Porcupine Warriors to represent Ghana with pride and also eliminate Kwara United for qualification to the next round.
The CAF Confederation Cup game between Asante Kotoko SC and Kwara United FC is slated for Sunday tomorrow thus first leg of preliminary stage before reverse leg in Nigerian.
The Accra Sports stadium is the venue for the crunchy encounter, with kickoff at 3:00pm.
