Bibiani Gold Stars have officially parted ways with head coach Frimpong Manso following their loss to Algerian side JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The visitors cruised to a 0-2 win at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the preliminary round. The defeat at home has prompted the club to take swift action, relieving the experienced trainer of his duties.
Manso will not travel with the team for the crucial return leg in Algeria, as the Miners seek to overturn the deficit and keep their continental campaign.
The former Kotoko man led the Miners to two titles during his short spell. He won the Ghana Premier League and GHALCA Top 4.
Gold Stars are yet to announce who will take charge of the team on an interim basis for the second leg.
