Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Delali Anku-Adiamah, says the club’s ultimate target this season is to qualify for continental football by securing a place in Africa.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Mr. Anku-Adiamah stressed the importance of consistency and results.
“Our target is to win every game. Of course, we dropped points in our first game, but we plan to play in Africa next season, so we must win every game,” he said.
The Phobians, who remain unbeaten after two matches, will look to continue their fine run when they face Eleven Wonders in a Matchday 3 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak last featured in Africa during the 2021/22 CAF Confederation Cup, where they were eliminated in the playoff round by Algerian side JS Saoura.
Since then, the Accra giants have struggled to return to the continental stage, making this season’s campaign crucial for both the team and its fans.
