Asante Kotoko will battle Moroccan giants Wydad AC in the CAF Confederation Cup playoff round.
The first leg will be staged on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with the Porcupine Warriors hosting the tie in Ghana. The former champions Leager winners will host Wydad AC in their usual home venue, Baba Yara Stadium, Ghanasportspage.com understand.
The second leg is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Morocco, where qualification to the group stage will be decided.
Kotoko sealed their place in this round after eliminating Nigeria’s Kwara United 5-3 on aggregate, while Wydad dropped into the Confederation Cup after their early exit from the CAF Champions League.
Head coach Karim Zito and his men will be aiming to capitalize on home advantage in the first leg before facing a difficult return trip to Casablanca.
